Dr Sara Clark is a General Surgeon with an interest in Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon based at Orange Specialist Clinic. She is skilled in the treatment of women with breast cancer and benign breast conditions. Dr Clark operates in both the public and private setting with VMO appointments at Orange Health Service, Lachlan Health Service (Parkes and Forbes), Orange Private Hospital and Dudley Private Hospital.
Dr Clark was raised in rural Victoria before graduating in Medicine from the University of Sydney. As the recipient of the NSW Rural Doctors Network Cadetship, she was a student at the School of Rural Health in Dubbo and went on to complete her junior doctor training at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
Dr Clark is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (General Surgery) and was awarded the Master of Surgery (University of Sydney) and the Postgraduate Certificate in Onco-Aesthetic Breast Surgery (UK). She completed the additional two years of BreastSurgANZ accredited Post Fellowship training in Breast Surgery at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Concord Repatriation General Hospital. In addition to general surgery (skin cancer surgery, laparoscopic hernia and gallbladder surgery, upper endoscopy and colonoscopy), her special interests include lumpectomy, mastectomy, oncoplastic breast surgery, implant-based breast reconstruction, therapeutic mammaplasty, risk-reduction surgery, breast reduction, lipomodelling and benign breast surgery. Dr Clark does not perform cosmetic surgery.
