Dr Preet Gosal is a General Surgeon based in Orange, NSW. He provides elective and emergency general surgery with a particular interest in abdominal wall reconstruction. He graduated from the University of New England in 2014 with Distinction. He was awarded the Rural Doctor's Network Cadetship Program for his commitment to rural medicine.
He completed his internship and resident training at Wagga Wagga Hospital. He obtained his Fellowship in General Surgery with the Royal Australiasian College of Surgeons in 2021. He then took a position as a fellow at Nepean Hospital in Acute Care Surgery.
Dr Gosal regularly contributes to medical research papers and peer-reviewed journals. He consults on a variety of general surgical conditions, performing open and laparoscopic surgery, gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Special interests include acute care surgery, trauma and hernia surgery.
