Sherene is a Dentist who holds academic appointments as Adjunct Associate Professor at the Charles Sturt University, and Clinical Senior Lecturer appointment with The University of Sydney.
Sherene is actively involved in the training of post graduate students and provides ‘out of hours’ emergency care at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Sherene is currently the President of ANZSPD( NSW Branch) and is one of the few specialists who has devoted her time in providing paediatric dental care to patients in remote and regional NSW for well over 14 years. In her specialist career spanning over twenty years, her areas of specialisations have included managing the child with additional needs, paediatric oral pathology and dental trauma. She has published widely in several international peer reviewed journals, including co-authoring a chapter in the ‘Handbook of Paediatric Dentistry’.

When she's not working, Sherene has an avid interest in woodwork and currently enjoys long distance running and photography.
