Acquisition of Orange Private Hospital

We’re pleased to announce Ramsay Health Care has acquired Orange Private Hospital.

The arrangements were finalised late on 11 July, allowing Ramsay to take on aspects of the facility’s operations for the benefit of the community, doctors and employees.

We will be rebranding the hospital as Ramsay Surgical Centre Orange.

Ramsay Surgical Centre Orange will become a short-stay hospital for patients undergoing surgical procedures and treatments who do not require an overnight stay. The site contains operating theatres, recovery areas, a central sterile supply department and pre-admission area – all located on level 4 of the Bloomfield Medical Centre building. Any patients requiring overnight stays will be treated here at Dudley Private Hospital.

We look forward to welcoming the former Orange Private Hospital staff and doctors into our Dudley Private Hospital family and embedding them in the Ramsay culture of ‘people caring for people’.
